Should kiwis be refrigerated?
Store unripe and ripened kiwifruit at 32–35 degrees Fahrenheit. Once kiwifruit is ripe and yields to the touch, it should be refrigerated until ready for use. How can you tell a kiwi is ripe?

How to tell if a kiwi is terrible?
- Changed texture. If the fruit is super soft, mushy, or it starts to ooze, throw it out.
- Off smell. If it smells somewhat acidic instead of citrusy, get rid of it. Please note that this rarely happens.

- Slice the kiwi vertically in half and then into wedges. Or slice the kiwi into round sections or smaller dices.
Method 2: Peeler
- Place the kiwi fruit on a cutting board. Using a knife, cut off the top end of the kiwi.
- Using the vegetable peeler, peel the kiwi sides downwards to remove the skin.
- Continue the process until all sides of the kiwi have been peeled.
- With the kiwi skin peeled back, use the knife to cut the bottom end of the fruit.
- The fruit is now peeled and ready to eat.
- To cut, use a small knife and slice kiwi into sections or smaller dice for fruit salads.
Method 3: Slice and Spoon
- For quick and convenient snacking, the slice and spoon method is best.
- Lay the kiwi on a cutting board. Using a knife, cut both ends off of the kiwi.
- Slice the kiwi in half down the middle.
- Slide a spoon underneath the skin of one-half, then rotate it to remove the skin entirely. You can also insert the spoon near the edge of the kiwi. Push the spoon against the side of the skin and move it around the outside of the kiwi.
- Once the spoon has made a complete circle around the kiwi, the peeled fruit will easily slide out. Stand the skinless kiwi on the cutting board flat side down, then make two vertical cuts.
